Attractive window to Astron solutions
Building for themselves – new home for a Builder
For its new location, Builder BECI Ingenierie decided to settle in the Vailhauquès Ecoparc, a new urban area based on sustainable development, near Montpellier (France).
The 585 m² building is a showroom of the different technical and architectural solutions proposed by ASTRON.
The request was for a steel structure that is functional, has an attractive design, generous interior space and takes the different activities planned on the site into account.
A 211 m² workshop with a single slope and 6.60 m free height is attached to a 166 m² multi-storey office part that overlooks the 208 m² ground floor with a single slope and a parapet.
The entire building has been designed with a striking yet harmonious combination of volumes with the use of overhangs plus a special feature with the red colour contrasting with the silver grey.
The ground floor offers a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding “garrigue” landscape typical from the south of France thanks to the 7 m bay window.
